Angry protesters blocked the Ghazipur National Highway in East Delhi, demanding the arrest of those responsible for the murder of a 32-year-old scooty rider.
Delhi: Tension erupted in East Delhi’s Ghazipur on Monday morning after a 32-year-old man was shot dead near Ghazipur Sabzi Mandi. The victim, identified as Rohit Chawda, was riding his scooty when unidentified assailants in a Baleno car opened fire on him and fled the scene.
The incident led to angry protesters blocking the Ghazipur National Highway, demanding the immediate arrest of those responsible. According to the Delhi Police, they received a Medico-Legal Case (MLC) report from Lal Bahadur Shastri (LBS) Hospital, stating that Rohit had suffered a gunshot injury on NH-24 near Phool Mandi and was declared dead on arrival.
