In light of the centenary celebrations of the Congress session presided over by Mahatma Gandhi, the following traffic adjustments have been made to ensure smooth vehicular movement in Belagavi city
Congress Road Diversion (26th & 27th Dec):Congress Road from 2nd Railway Gate Tilakwadi to Maratha Colony will be temporarily closed. Vehicles must use the alternative route via Goaves Circle and RPD route.
Restricted Access on 27th Dec:Only vehicles attending the convention will be allowed on the route passing through Channamma Circle, Club Road, Gandhi Circle, Shaurya Circle, Shakti Park, and Global Theater Marg.
Heavy Vehicle Restrictions (26th & 27th Dec):Heavy vehicles entering the city from all directions are prohibited until the conclusion of the convention.
No Parking Zones (26th & 27th Dec):Parking is banned on Congress Road (Channamma Circle to 3rd Railway Gate) and Club Road (Channamma Circle to Gandhi Circle).
Alternative Routes for Khanapur Traffic:Vehicles entering via Congress Road from Khanapur must take the 3rd Gate Railway Flyover, RPD Circle, Goaves Circle, Bank of India Circle, SPM Road, Bhatkhande School Cross, VRL Logistics, and Old PB Road.
Alternative Routes from City to Khanapur:Vehicles leaving the city towards Khanapur must use Old PB Road, VRL Logistics, Bhatkhande School Cross, SPM Road, Bank of India Circle, Goaves Circle, RPD Circle, and 3rd Gate Railway Flyover.
Drivers are requested to follow the revised routes and cooperate with authorities for smooth traffic management.
